Supervision Modalities
Groups

Two levels of groups are offered in 2010.

LSW group:  This group is geared toward more junior clinicians who
wish to get their clinical license (LCSW).  Clinicians with a masters in
counseling are also welcome.

LCSW/MFT group: This group is for more senior clinicians who wish to
strengthen their therapeutic voice and expand their skill set.

Supervision in a group can help you improve your skills by practicing
interventions with other group members via role play, giving you a more realistic
experience of working with clients, especially couples and families.  Group
supervision also provides you with a rich experience because it offers different
points of view and a network of peer support.  Additionally, trainees have the
opportunity to experience
Sociometry and to learn how to use this excellent
technique with groups.
