I am an experienced practitioner, supervisor*, and educator of family therapy, and a Trainer, Educator, Practitioner (TEP) of psychodrama, practicing in Northern New Jersey. I am also licensed in New York.  I founded Chrysalis Clinical Supervision and Training in 2009, because I strongly believe in the power of relationships to heal and in the mind/body connection. I am dedicated to the professional development of psychotherapists including social workers, family therapists, and counselors, at all levels as well as psychologists and psychiatrists who want to understand the impact of family relationships on their patients/clients.

 

I specialize in Supervision in Action TM and Family Therapy in Action TM. These modalities utilize the mind/body connection.  I have organized and presented many workshops and conferences, nationally and locally, most notably, Alternatives to Medication for Children. I also provide on-site consultation for agencies and schools in the area.

 

In addition to Chrysalis Clinical Supervision & Training, I am the Associate Clinical Director of Family Service League, a not-for-profit agency that provides individual, couple, family, and group counseling services to the community as well as support for sexual assault survivors (SAVE) in Northern NJ; i am also an Adjunct Professor at NYU and Columbia.

 

I have more than 15 years of intensive training in psychodrama which has enhanced my ability to work with trauma victims and to train clinicians in this difficult work. I received my TEP certification in 2020, the highest certification in the field of psychodrama.

I am a member of AAMFT, ASGPP, IFTA, ISEPP (International Society for Ethical Psychology & Psychiatry) and NASW.

*I am approved by the NJ Board of Social Work Examiners, NJ Board of Marriage and Family Therapists to supervise social workers, MFT's and counselors. I am an AAMFT Approved Supervisor and Clinical Fellow and a Certified Systemic Therapist Supervisor (IACSSTE).
