I am not taking any new clients in my practice at this time.

In addition to providing training to other counselors, social workers, and family therapists, I offer psychotherapy to families, couples, individuals and groups in my private practice, located in

Upper Montclair, NJ.

 

My Philosophy

I believe that most problems arise out of difficulties we encounter between ourselves and our closest relationships. These difficulties most often arise during transitions like forming a union such as marriage, having a child, a child leaving home, adolescence, separation, retirement, chronic illness, and death. I strongly believe that having warm intimate relationships is the key to living a gratifying life. Conflict and loss, addiction and other breaches of trust, can compromise these relationships leaving us hurt, angry, sad, and lost. Emotional isolation is devastating to the human spirit.

 

I help my clients to find hope by reducing their isolation and encouraging them to connect with others through gratifying experiences.

 

How I Work

I use a variety of experiential techniques, some coming from psychodrama, some coming from hypnotherapy.  Each technique is tailor-made to the client(s) and the situation.
